Trade In

If you wish to trade-in your ŠKODA for a new vehicle, all you need to do is return it to the dealership. If the trade-in value is higher than the Guaranteed Future Value, you can use this equity towards your new vehicle.


If you can’t imagine parting with your ŠKODA, you can purchase it outright for the Guaranteed Future Value amount locked in at the start of the contract*. Or you can choose to refinance your balloon at the end of the term, speak to us about your refinancing options.


At the end of your contract term, all you need to do is hand your car back to your ŠKODA dealership. And, if the vehicle meets the agreed kilometre and fair wear and tear requirements*, (as outlined in our Fair Wear and Tear Guide) you’ll have no more to pay.

Even the smartest drivers can get into trouble sometimes. Luckily, we’re always along for the ride, offering free 12 months membership to our roadside assist. That’s transport and accommodation, if necessary, anywhere in Australia. So you can get out there and explore without any worries.

Every new ŠKODA vehicle includes one-year complimentary roadside assist membership+, from the warranty start date.

To thank you for your loyalty, complimentary Service Initiated Roadside Assist (SIRA for short) will be activated if the vehicle is returned to an authorised SKODA Dealer for scheduled maintenance, as per the SKODA Service Schedule milestones.

To be eligible for SIRA your vehicle must be in a roadworthy condition and have the SKODA standard scheduled service carried out by an authorised SKODA Dealer. Following the service schedule ensures your vehicle receives the love and care it deserves. As such, vehicles presented to an authorised SKODA Dealer will be eligible for a SIRA Policy up to 42 days after, or 2,500 kilometres above the service schedule milestone. If previous services were missed or completed outside our network, you will also be eligible when you return to an authorised SKODA Dealer for a standard scheduled service.

Vehicles that are more than 9 years old from the original new car warranty start date, are not eligible for SIRA. If the SIRA policy will expire on or after 10 years from the original new car warranty start date, and no further SIRA policy will not be activated. No more than 9 SIRA Policies can be applied to a vehicle in its lifetime.

*SKODA Choice consists of an option to return your vehicle to SKODA Financial Services (SFS) ABN 20 097 071 460, Australian Credit Licence 389344, at the end of the term and requires SFS to purchase the vehicle at an agreed price determined by SFS, known as the Guaranteed Future Value (GFV). At the end of the term, you can elect to: (1) trade-in; (2) return; or (3) retain the vehicle by paying the GP✓, which is a lump sum owed to SFS at the end of the loan term after all repayments have been made. These Service Packs can only be purchased prior to the first scheduled service and up to 15,000 km/12 months (whichever occurs first).
